Capito and Manchin announce NSF award to WVU Research Corporation

CHARLESTON, West Virginia – U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (RW.Va.) and Joe Manchin (DW.Va.) announced $ 50,000 for the West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVURC) through the National Science Foundation (NSF).

“It’s great to see WVU at the center of researching technology that has the potential to save lives. This project aims to advance easy-to-use technology that can provide real-time feedback to people performing CPR and could potentially improve survival in cardiac arrest both inside and outside the hospital. ‘hospital. This funding will support a research project that aims to develop technology to help the general public, the military, first responders and healthcare professionals perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
