Excelra will develop new therapeutic hypotheses in dermatology
Hyderabad-based Excelra, one of the world’s leading data and analytics companies, announced a drug reallocation collaboration with Ossaka-based in Maruho – a pharmaceutical company specializing in dermatology.
Under the agreement, drug reallocation data scientists and therapeutics experts from Excelra will work jointly with the Maruho research team to discover and develop new therapeutic hypotheses in dermatology.

The database within GRIP was built by amassing chemical data (over 7 million chemical entities), biological data and clinical data (over 200,000 data points) which together contribute to over 10 millions of associations between the “drug-disease-target” triads.
Dr Nandu Gattu, Senior Vice President, Pharma Analytics, Excelra said, “We are delighted to be working with the Maruho research team to help increase their dermatology pipeline. Together, we aim to unlock innovative treatments to improve the quality of life for millions of patients around the world.”
