The Rhine will offer professional parapsychology courses and certificate programs
The Rhine Education Center in Durham, North Carolina, has announced that winter online courses will be offered in parapsychology. Professional parapsychology courses begin in February 2019 and last for eight weeks, and students have the option of applying courses to a certificate program in parapsychology.
The Rhine Education Center has a number of certificate programs including: academic parapsychology, parapsychology research, history of parapsychology and knowledge of Psi phenomena. Although not an accredited institution, the Rhine Education Center provides a professional educational opportunity for students. Tuition is $ 249 per course, with lower rates for Rhine members or students enrolled in a degree program.
Two online parapsychology courses are open for registration:
Advanced field investigations with Loyd Auerbach, MS (Mondays)
Mondays February 18 to April 8, 2019 LIVE @ 8:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
In this course, students will explore in more depth the topics of field investigations, including methods related to specific models of paranormal phenomena from the scientific perspective of a parapsychologist. Learn how to manage field research, issues related to public places vs. private house the cases and methods of exploring the evidence and analyzing the data to reach a conclusion.
Qualitative research methods with John G. Kruth, MS
Wednesdays February 20-April 10, 2019 LIVE @ 7 pm-8:30pm
Psi phenomena Usually occur in spontaneous situations or in environments that are not transferred to a controlled laboratory environment. Qualitative research methods allow this type of event to be explored in a scientifically controlled manner. This course is designed for serious students and qualifies for many certificate programs. It is strongly recommended that students have taken the Rhine course “Research methods” or have previous experience in research methodology.
While students are encouraged to attend all eight live presentations of a course, recordings will be available for registered students who will not be able to join the live stream, making it more convenient for adults with busy schedules. Students will also be able to interact in class forums, ask questions of instructors, and receive feedback.
